Three types of sentences. Which is correct?

Hello,

This is my first post, so hello everybody!

My question is:

The module, where astronauts live.

The module in which astronauts live.

The module, astronauts live in.

Which of the sentences is correct? May be all of them are, but my question deals with the latter. Can you please refer to the grammar rules that describe this kind of sentences?

Thanks.

Based on the context, I will say “The module in which [the] astronauts live....” is the only correct one, although other may seem to be correct as well.
