Hi all!
Please could you tell me whether these sentences are correct? Thank you!
- He doesn´t like skiing or swimming.
- There wasn´t salt or pepper on the table.
- Judy couldn´t take a train or a bus.
I know it could be as follows: He doesn´t like either skiing or swimming but I am wondering whether the three original sentence are possible as well.
He doesn't like(either) swimming or skiing. You're right, either could get, but the sentence works without that as well. There wasn't any salt or pepper on the table.
