Three sentences?

1."The selfishness of humans is revealed in the midst of a crisis."

2."I quit my job as a kindergarten teacher after only one week of work because I couldn't deal with the naughty kids."

3."David is a rich man but he never boasts about his wealth."

Are they correct? Can they be simplified?

The sentences are fine, but you can economize on word usage. Incidentally, you need a comma after "man" in sentence 3. Human selfishness is revealed during a crisis.
