Please, let me know which one is correct in either pair. To me, for the first, both work & for the second one, 'by' should be right.

2)He has got a salary cut of/ by 30 dollars.
And also,...
Can we use 'salary increase' as the opposite of 'salary cut'? For example: He has got a salary increase of/ by 30 dollars.
