Three expression mean the same?

Hi. Please help. Do they mean the same?

1. The plant is 6 feet high.
2. The plant is 6 feet tall.
3. The plant is 6 feet in height.

For animals, I think we wouldn't use the word "high" in such a sentence as example 1 above.
