Threateningly

Max: (threateningly) Don't you agree with me? I said, don't you agree with me?

Julian: Yes. Yes, I agree with you. I agree with you.

Max wants Julian to say that he agrees with him. Is 'threateningly' a fitting adverb to use here to say how Max delivers his lines?
