Thrash out and Hash out

1. "That's an issue which should be thrashed/hash out in the meeting tomorrow"

Hi. Which word is more commonly used today? I assume that they both have a similar meaning

Usually, you hash out details. It might be okay to suggest that you'll make decisions about "the issue" with a mutual understanding and agreement. I'm pretty sure I've never "thrashed out" anything in my life.
