Hi,

While/Though I didn't mind, my friend took strong exception to his comments.

Do while/though basically mean the same here?

anonymous Do while/though basically mean the same here? "While" is better in this exact context. With "though" it is possible to read it to mean that your friend took exception in spite of the fact that you didn't mind that he did, which is weird, I know, but still.
