Hi guys, would someone please tell me, what could "thought so" mean, except "think" so in the past?

I can't think of any other meaning. Its use by itself is rather limited, however. We're going to postpone tonight's concert until next week because of the rain.

I can't think of any other meaning. Its use by itself is rather limited, however.
