"Thought for the day" vs "Thought of the day"

Hi

Could you please tell me what sounds more natual to native ears?

[Context: School assembly, newsletter, etc]

They are both OK.

"Thought for the day" would imply that it is something published, read, announced...at the beginning of the day so people can reflect on it.

"Thought of the Day" is less common I think, and just generally describes an idea, or hightlights a thought that came up during the day.
