though with commas

Hi, can anyone tell me if i can write this particular sentence like this, using "though" with two commas in this instance. I cannot find anything that tells me why it is wrong, although someone insists that it is. Here's the sentence- "You might need some English lessons, though, and I can recommend some ways to fix that."

I know that it can be written other ways, but is this one also correct? Is so, why not? Thanks everyone
