Those who have a mix of ...

In those who have a mix of normal blood pressure, prehypertension, and mild hypertension, two- fifths (41 percent) have been found to have an increase in blood pressure with salt restriction.

--- I understand there are three categories of people: those who have a normal blood pressure, those who have prehypertension and those who have hypertension and two-fifths out of those experience increase in blood pressure when they limit their salt intake?

It reads to me as if it is talking about only one category of people: people who sometimes have normal blood pressure and other times prehypertension or mild hypertension. However, I think it is quite poorly worded and leaves a doubt about whether it could be trying to say what you describe.
