'those that' or 'that which'
a. They both look good and much better than what I was initially deciding between.
b. They both look good and much better than those that I was initially deciding between.
Am I correct to say that 'those that' is just the plural of 'that which' and 'that which' is the same as 'what'?
Are both my examples correct?
