This will be the last time I post here (future)

Hi, Emotion: smile

this won't be the last time I (will) post here, the subject of the thread is "This will be the last time I (will) post here" because I'm having trouble with sentences like that. Emotion: stick out tongue

So, do I need those will's in parentheses or can I leave them out? I know I can often leave out will in subordinate clauses (Swan's grammar, Tense Simplification ---->I'll go where you (will) go), but in this case I'm not completely sure.

It is far more usual to leave out the will.

This will be the last time I post here.
This won't be the last time I post here.

The second "will" here expresses determination, not tense, IMO.

Oh dear! I don't think that sounds right!
It's rather a difficult case to explain, but my instinct tells me that we use the Present Perfect with first time etc because it's the first time so far, a typical case of use of the Pres Perf. This reasoning doesn't apply to the last time.

Perhaps someone else would like to come in, but I also suggest the
