This vs it

Hi,

Any difference between the following 2 sentences?

Sentence1:
I completed a summer job in a restaurant.
This is the evidence that I have the ability to work with other people.

Sentence2:
I completed a summer job in a restaurant.
It is the evidence that I have the ability to work with other people.

Thanks
