Could you tell me how to phrase the following?

-I was earlier than I was yesterday.
-It was 7:34 when I got off the bus on my way to work yesterday. It was 7:31 when I got off the bus today.
-I am in front of yesterday's pace.
-This exact time yesterday I was still on the bus whereas today I'm at work.

I was earlier today than I was yesterday. Or I came earlier today than I did yesterday.

I don't see anything wrong with that. You could say that, but you could also say this:

I am in front of the place where I was yesterday.

Anonymous-This exact time yesterday I was still on the bus whereas today I'm at work.

Your sentence seems correct, but I'd put a comma before 'whereas'. Also, I won't say "exact" if I say "at this time", eg At this time yesterday I was still on the bus, whereas today I'm at work.
