This student has severe behavioural problems.

Hi

Would you say these sentences carry the same meaning? If no, please shed some light on the difference.

(From a teacher's point of view)

This student has severe behavioural problems.

This student has severe discipline problems.

Thanks,

Tom

You might say that the two carry the same meaning, but in that case you have to take "discipline" to mean "self-discipline", of course. com/dictionary/discipline See meaning 5. CJ
