This sentence does not sound correct!

Hi,

Do check the following sentence, please. Thanks.

"At the time of her last visit did question whether the symptoms she were having was secondary to issues with her back."

You are right. It doesn't sound good. Actually, it is so bad that I'm not sure what is meant. Perhaps:

When she last visited me, she asked me whether/if the symptoms she was having were secondary to the problems with her back.

Ha, ha, ha, that is how these dictators dictate- a nurse practitioner from the US (sometimes even doctors too). I guess they are good in their professions, and they have no time to make complete grammatically correct sentences. We are even asked not to add too much punctuation, so our own grammar goes for a toss. I will have to make some changes though! Thanks so much!
