Anonymous How do you choose in this scenario I don't think I have a rule that I go by. I just choose what sounds right when it's a matter of 'this' or 'that'. In this case I'd choose "This", probably because it's a statistic that has just been stated in the preceding sentence.

I don't think I have a rule that I go by. I just choose what sounds right when it's a matter of 'this' or 'that'. In this case I'd choose "This", probably because it's a statistic that has just been stated in the preceding sentence.
