This is very simple, but still make me puzzled.

A: I didn`t see him in the recent days.

A': I didn't see him last.

A'': I didn`t see hime recently/lately

B: I haven't seen him last.

B': I haven't seen him recently/lately.

I would like to know which one is an awkward or unnatural expression.
