Topic: 2 day Legal Awareness training on violence against Women and refer Violence against Women Cases

Venue: SEDAR House

Date: 20 -21 June 2018

Presenter: Gulalai,

The events was started by Saeeda Serat she well camed to the participants and has speech about introduction about care international activities and new project and well introduction with 10 executive members which invited in the work shop they were selected from KWA members for working in practical Work and support KWA members, also she introduced Gulalai to participants as new,

The training under the title of legal awareness about violence against women has been started by Gulalai, she starting the training with the comprehensive presentation about violence against women;

The mine focusing area of the first day presentation was about the following points:

• Introduction of Violence against Women.
• Introducing women with some special and kay legal words may they face during the refer system of case
• Main objectives of EVAW law
• Main right of violated woman
• Which kind of support must Government of Afghanistan must provide to a violated women
• The main root of knowing of violence against women as crime
• Introduction with VAW case based on Afghanistan government Violence against Women spatial Law
• Refer proses of VAW case and intruding the governmental affairs body in refer VAW cases
• Effect of violence in women life

Before the starting of the second day of training we have a pretest to understand about the knowledge of the participants about the issues,

We find that just 2% of participants fully understand about the family case that 30 % almost understand and after the training we estimated that most of the participants understand about the issues,

The second day topic was about the following points;

• Wedding forms as right , false and wrong which has direct affect in to mareged person future responsibility to each other and Heritage ,
• Kind of divorcing and effected results
• Situation of order of divorcing
• Divorcing by the women based on Afghanistan family law
• Condition of devoicing based on absence of husband
• Any Case of Directly termination of family relationship and its effect on life
• Condition of Alimony and refer alimony case

Participant’s recommendation:

1. Organization of same training directed by the this office representatives
2. Facilitation of same training for action Groups members to enable them directly understand the issues
3. Invite representatives from district governor office, and each district officer to can support women
4. In some cases member of association face with threat by the violated women family members and they need the support from the likeminded man groups as well as,
