This is the place that project A is worked

They worked on project A in place B.
If we say "This is the place that project A is worked" Is 'that' here correct? I know that my sentences may don't make sense just I wanted to know 'that' is correct with 'is worked'?

"This is the place that [something happens]" is tolerable in informal English. More properly, we say "This is the place where / in which [something happens]". "This is the place that project A is worked" is not correct, or is at best unusual, because we do not normally say that a project "is worked".
