This is the place that I was born / born in

Please check out which sentences are correct.

1. This is the place where I was born.
2. This is where I was born.
3. This is the place that I was born.
4. This is the place that I was born in.
5. This is the place which I was born in.
6. This is the place in which I was born,

I know 1,2,5,and 6 are absolutely grammatical.

I wonder which one is grammatical between 3 and 4.

I would happily say 1 and 2. 6 could be a close runner-up if I wished to sound formal. 4 is likely to be heard in casual speech.

4. This is the place that I was born in.

We are standing by a hospital which has a maternity ward.
I say to you, "This is the place that I was born in." (I was born in this hospital.)

It is grammatically OK, but not very natural.

#3 is incorrect.
I would also call #5 incorrect because the clause should be restrictive.
