Some people say History is one of the most important school subjects. Other people think that, in today's world, subjects like Science and Technology are more important than History.

Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

Some people think the most crucial subject in school is History, while others argue that subjects which are relevant to Science and Technology are more essential. Although student’s horizon can be broadened by History, knowledge from Science and Technology field is more realistic.

On the one hand, There is a lot of useful technique that people can learn from their ancestors. In thousand years of development, many knowledge had been discovered in order to make human life easier, and people from the past who had survived through intense living conditions had applied those information in the most effective way. For example, many engineers nowadays still use the same method since it has been created many years ago due to its viability. However, the advantage is not sufficient to consider history as the most crucial subject.

On the other hand, Science and Technology subjects bring students more practical knowledge. That is to say that, humanity is living in 4.0 era, the century of high-tech and automatic machines, so there is a higher chance for students to apply what they have learned and dedicated to their nation because of the undeniable benefits scientist contribute to the world. For instance, all the drugs and machines people use in their daily life are the results of scientist’s works. Science and Technology subject has a vital effect on the world’s asses which is the students.

In conclusion, learning History means that people can have more solutions when it comes to dealing with problems, but Science and Technology subjects give more realistic and vital knowledge in order to allow people to contribute to humankind’s development.
