In a number of countries, some people think it is necessary to spend large sum of money on constructing new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Others believe the money should be spent on improving existing public transport.
Discuss both these views and give your opinion.
In some countries, some say that new railway lines with high speed among cities should be funded by the government to build, while others argue money should go to develop available public transport. Although some existing transportations need to be maintained, building high-speed train systems can bring a lot of advantage to both the citizens and tourists.
On the one hand, spending money on the maintenance for the old communication is essential. That is to say that, some public transports are impaired due to their long time of usage, and it can cause danger or incident to the user, so the state needs to fund these systems in order to develop and ensure it work well. For example, many articles have shown the casualties that the old fashion public transport can bring to the dwellers is alarming. However, it may not an effective solution due to the out-of-date of those systems.
On the other hand, funding to build bullet train systems benefit people is more productive. Accompany with the development of the society is the increase in demand of traveling between cities, people who work in another city can go home more often, and tourists can save their time and money from traveling multi cities by using these systems. For instance, a tourist can go to Ho Chi Minh from Hanoi with just around three hundred thousand vietnam dong and 3 hours on the train instead of using car which is a lot cheaper but consumes much more time. The advantages of building high-speed railway lines are undeniable.
In conclusion, while public transport development can ensure its safety for the citizens, constructing bullet trains system is more crucial due to its effectiveness and convenience.
