Is is clear that while the highest amount of water in North America and Europe is utilized for industry, water is primarily used for agriculture in the rest regions. In addition, the residential purpose experiences the least percentage of water consumption.
As can be observed from the charts, around a half of water amount in North America and Europe is utilized for manufacturing, with 48% and 53% respectively. Besides, the less amount of water is used for two other usages, and obviously, domestic activities constitute the lowest proportion of water used, with 13% in North America and 15% in Europe.
Looking at the charts in more details, agriculture is the main aspect that occupies the highest percentage of water consumption among the rest places, especially in Central Asia with 88% of water usage. In South America and Africa, the figure of water used for residential needs is higher than industry, but the opposite is true for Central America and South East Asia.
