This is my fixed essay for my scholarship application that I have changed some points based on previous comments.

Describe (a) something that you achieved as a result of committing yourself over an extended period of time and (b) something that you aspire to achieve in the future. (word limit: 400)

The Covid 19 pandemic seems to have lasted a very long time, and it has caused many people to be discouraged and turn away from their goals and ambitions. However, I used this time to my advantage and achieved the highest prize in the provincial geography competition. On account of my inspiration to get higher rewards in geography - a subject that I had placed second in a previous contest, I started learning-intensive knowledge during grade 11 summer vacation. Due to the Covid 19 outbreak, the competition was put off two times for 2 months until the middle of September. This, then, led to the expansion of lessons that I had to study, which made me for a moment demoralized at first by virtue of learning the heavy load of school homework, IELTS exercises in tandem with extensive geography insights. The thought of giving up also appeared in my mind, nevertheless, I did not want to waste all of my time, my efforts spent on preparing for the competition, and continued revising, making a 2-month study plan. The last week before the test is also the most important time when I allocated almost my time for geography and capitalized on impossible resources on the internet to expand my horizon. It was a tough time for me to get through when doing multiple tasks at the same time but was still a memorable period that I have never had a chance to try after graduating.

Studying geography for me was initially just ambition and I did not expect that this subject would stimulate my first interest in economics. Being a combination of artistic and logical, I always have had a desire to bring my own characteristics to my career path. That is the reason why I am in the process of orienting myself toward being an entrepreneur with an exclusive brand in the fashionable field. Business is a follow-up to my basic grasp of economic laws, customers’ tastes in diversified territories, strategic management - a basic knowledge to operate and develop a company system in the long run, it represents the calm, strict, and disciplined part inside me. In contrast, the poetic, creative side is expressed through an endless aspiration for designing and creating outstanding things. It is true that nothing is gained without challenges, however, living and breathing personal passion is an enormous motivation for me to keep going.
