this is my first Gre issue ,please help me to correct it

In fact ,this' s my first time writing Gre issue.I just couldn't find enough things to write so the essay is too short . So I need some advice on how to write a long one ,and please help me to correct it.

Issue 1 : We can usually learn much more from people whose views we share than from people whose views contradict our own; disagreement can cause stress and inhibit learning.



When it comes to talk about cooperation,most people seem to tend to choose partners who have the same views with them.Because they think disagreement can cause stress and inhibit learning as the author said .But in my opinion, learning or debating with those whose views contradict ours can not solely help us to find out the flaws in our views but also to make us think different.

It is true that disadvantages such as stress brought out from leaning or debating with people who have contradictive views cannot be ingored ,and they do hold negative effects on individual progress.Someone who always feels stress may easily change his idea though there's nothing wrong in his views .Unfortunly ,there do exist many people who are not confident and brave enough to insist their views.

But we cannot neglect the positive effects of the contradictive views.There is no doubt that nobody can make sure that his views are completely correct and do not need to be improved little more.In actual,people who have similar views always make the same mistakes consciously.Admittedly, by a strict and comprehensive look-over which would take more time and energy ,the flaws might be found out, but the angles from which we analyze problems would not get changed.In other words ,a wider sight needs more general angles that can only be obtained from different views, and most of time different means contradictive.

Furthermore, sharing views with those who disagree with us may help to prove our views.For instance ,in 1678 ,Physicist Hygens advanced a series of theorems on discribing behaviors of light ,but Poisson ,another Physicist ,thought Hygens' theory were wrong ,and then Poisson made some experiments in order to prove his thought .But eventually Poisson's experiments proved Hygens was right adversely.Suppose that Hygens did not publicize his theory so that Poisson didn't know that,maybe he would ever be suspecious of the theroy of his own.

From what has been discussed above, we can come to the conclusion that there's no denying the fact that sometimes contradictive views can be negative,but the benefits can overweigh the disadvantages.
