This is luggage/equipment?

Hi. Is this correct to say this, referring to something that belong (? - not sure this is a right word to use) to it?

Let us pretending we are talking a paper shredder and say this?

This is equipment.

How about a piece of luggage that rolls on wheels? Could we say this?

This is luggage.

Are you looking for possessive pronouns for objects?

So that a car belonging to a man is referred to as - His car using "his"

For an article you would use "its". If the paper shredder has equipment this would be "Its equipment"

If a piece of luggage has wheels they would be "its wheels"

I am not sure that this is what you are asking but I hope this helps.
