"This is a/the * that"

I think it is okay to say, "This is a box of chocolates that I bought for you."
I don't have to say, "This is the box of chocolates that I bought for you," if the person I am talking to does not know that I bought it.

Then, how about the following case?

"This is a best seller that I bought yesterday."
Is this sentence possible in either of the following cases?

1. I bought more than one best sellers, and it is one of them.
2. I bought only one best seller, and I am telling the person that it is a best seller and I bought it yesterday.

Is it possible to say, "This is a book that I bought yesterday," if I bought only one book and the person I am talking to does not know anything about it?
