This is a bit of an urgent letter I have to sent to a counciller, please critique it as soon as possble

I have been applying for jobs ever since the day I got laid off. I spoke to few recruiters’ at job fairs and they all said that even though I have a good work experience but the lack of proper education credential is probably the reason why I’m not getting job interviews. I was enrolled at Uoft Engineering however I failed in third year due to the level of difficulty and my parents were not doing well financially which is why I went back into workforce instead of going to a college and finishing off. At my last company not only was my work appreciated but I also learnt a lot which also helped me immensely in deciding what field of study should I persue. At my previous job everything seemed fine but one day all of a sudden our company files for bankruptcy and I only had a 2 day notice. I believe second career is a very good opportunity where I can get a proper education which will further facilitate my career and while in the persuit for education, I can focus and worry less financially.
