This guy with a big hammer

Hi Everyone,

I got this conversation from <Friends> and was wondering when Rachael said 'this guy with a big hammer', does it literally mean 'this guy who holds a big hammer'? or is it a metaphor?

  • See,I don’t want to be single. OK? I just,I just, I just want to be married again.

  • And I just want a million dollars!

  • Rachael?

  • Oh God, Monica, Hi. Thank God. I just went to your building and you weren’t there and this guy with a big hammer said you might be here, and you are. You are! You are!

  • Can I get you some coffee?

  • Decaf

  • Ok! Every body this is Rachael. Another Loncoln high survivor. This is everybody. Chandler, and Phoebe, and Joey. And, you remember my brother Rose?

  • Sure

  • Hey

  • Oh!

  • So you want to tell us now, or are we waiting for four wet bridesmaids?
