This endless queue..

Are these sentences grammatical and natural?

?This endless queue on the outskirts of Bengaluru made no sense. It wasn't an entrance test since a majority of the crowd didn't look like students. They weren't standing for alcohol either since liquor shops had been open for months. Lining up for a Covid-19 vaccine also seemed like a far-fetched idea just yet. But then it became clear these locals were after an entirely different fix. Hoskote's much-hyped "Anand Dam Biryani" had finally opened its doors after lockdown rules were relaxed here. Bengalurites had formed a 1.5 kilometre long queue just to scratch their Biryani itch.
