Do you agree or disagree with the statement?
Teachers should not show their political or social views known in the classroom.
Given the choice between agreeing or disagreeing with the statement that teachers should not show their political or social views known in the classroom, which one do I choose? It is believed that the answer is negative. However, I totally agree that the teachers should not show their political or social views known in the classroom. There are a multitude of reasons stating below:
First of all, it is showing their political or social views known in the classroom that could waste the teaching time. For example, I had a English teacher who always talked the political news in the classroom. However, not only did he waste the teaching time, but also make me arrive home late. Because I have to take the train to go home, he always did not finish the lecture on time. In addition, he often complained that he have no time to finish all the lectures. In fact, only if he did not talk his political views too much in the class, did he have more time to teach.
What is more, it is showing their political or social views known in the classroom that could mislead the students. Because everyone has his or her own political views, political issues is too sensitive to talk in public places such like classroom. Everyone has his or her right to choose which parties they would take part in. However, not only do the students gain the knowledge from the teachers, but also they recognize their teachers as a role model. Therefore, the teachers should avoid talking this sensitive issues to mislead students.
Most important, it is showing their political or social views known in the classroom that could make me uncomfortable. For instance, I had a history teacher who always criticized the party I support in the class. However, because he was my teacher, I cannot stop him talking this sensitive issues in the class. As uncomfortable as I was, I still sat in the class and listened what’s he said. In other words, although I did not agree his political opinion, I could not strongly oppose his opinion. Because I’m afraid that the teacher would have a bad impression on me.
To sum up, I completely agree that the teachers should not show their political or social views known in the classroom, among them wasting the teaching time, misleading the students, and making me uncomfortable.

I'm sorry for interfering, but I've just learnt that e.g. "talking politics" is grammatically correct and it means the same as "talking about politics". It's in my FCE book but it's wrong ridiculously often, so I wouldn't bet on it's accuracy.
You've pointed out that "...talked the political news..." is wrong, which seems to be quite similar to the my example.
The grammar is not incorrect, but it sounds very awkward since you use so many words, and repeat the same pattern several times. Also it implies that there is nothing else (or it is the most important activity) that could waste time in class. It is emphatic, while could is not emphatic. So you have both emphatic and non-emphatic usage in the same sentence.
