Is that correct to understand "this" in this case as uneffectiveness?

Dual management made easy with this system. this is Chris, he has a construction company and everything's going great these members of staff are doing solid work and the order books are full but there's one problem that keeps Chris busy - managing all his equipment is very time-consuming. chris is surprised with unpredictable bills for repairs and replacement not to mention work days wasted due to faulty equipment. Chris can see this is eating into his profit!
