thirsty for water but what for urinating?

Hi,

I was trying to find an ajective to describe the urge of going to washroom just like people would say they were thirsty when they want to drink water or fluids. Is there an adjective to describe the feeling of going to washroom?

Thanks,

I cannot think of one.

However, you can say: "I gotta go to the bathroom" or "I need to go to the bathroom really bad."

You could say something like "I really need to pee/urinate" but, quite unlike being thirsty, this is NOT something that people talk about in "polite company." For example, if you are having dinner in a restaurant with a group of people and you need to go to the bathroom, you should just say "Excuse me. I'll be right back." Any more information about what you need to do or how much you want to

Informally, I'm busting (in Australia) or bursting (UK) are similar to starving (very hungry.) I have a urinary urgency might be medical English.

After further research I found that, however, is it actually common?

It is not common to talk to people about how extremely you need to urinate.
