"Think outside the box" variations?

Hello! If I want to ask if a person can think outside the box, instead of usual: "Can you think outside the box?", can I ask:

1. "Can you get outside the box?" or
2. "Can you be outside the box?"
3. "Are you outside the box"?

Can we say that a person "thinking outside the box" IS outside the box?
