Things, objects, or articles ?

Hi,

If I want to refer to lots of things unspecifically, what should I say?

1) There are many articles in this container;

2) there are many objects in this container; or

3) there are many things in this container?

Regards,

Stephen

Are the three examples I gave stilted? -- No; they could work in more particular cases. I have given you the most appropriate general word.

How about stuff? Thare are many stuff in this container.-- No. 'Stuff' is uncountable.
