The question is "What do you think of the acoutics in this room?" And the answer is "They sound very clear." Thus the base sentence is a stand-alone choice. If it doesn't make sense, don't bother about it. I just want to make sure.

Hi,

'Make' is not a good choice of verb. You don't 'make' acoustics. You might say 'The room was built too cheaply, so it has bad acoustics'.
