"they cost ten times as much" ?

Hi,

I don't get what young Asians do exactly when they wear substitute t-shirts? And which one becomes more expensive in the process of producing?

After all, young men in Asia were shunning the Crocodile and Three Riffles t-shirts they had worn for years in favour of Lacoste and Ralph Lauren Polo t-shirts even though they cost ten times as much.

Regards,
Nesa

Not really - the Crocodile and Three Riffles t-shirts are old fashioned, and not trendy. The Asian youth will not wear these.
Lacoste and Ralph Lauren Polo t-shirts are the latest fashion. They will wear these.
