"they" cannot find "a job"?

Is this expression grammatical?

"They cannot find a job"

Or should I say "find jobs"

"Owing to the staggering economy, it is difficult for fresh graduates to find jobs."

Or is "find work" better?

There are more results for "they canot find a job" than "they cannot find jobs" in google. and I'm very confused!

Thanks for your quick reply!

So is it a matter of expression?

I'm confused because of the "they" and the "a" of "a job".

As long as the reader's common sense is not abused (i.e. the reader knows by common sense that each person gets one job), then there is no confusion with 'they' and 'job'.
