They are kids for / to me.

They are kids for me. VS. They are kids to me.

The situation is there are students and they are much younger than me so I consider them to be kids but they do not think they are kids and think they are adults.So I want to say either one but I do not know which one is natural to you or is there a meaning difference between them?
