They all have been calling me at different timings.

Hi

Would you say that all the following sentences are natural and carry the same meaning? Any suggestions are welcome.

They all have been calling me at different timings.
They all have been calling me at different times.
They all have been calling me in different slots of time.
They all have been calling me at different pockets of time.

Thanks,

Tom

Mr. TomThey all have been calling me at different times.
That is the only natural sentence.
"They all" might be considered informal. "All" would be considered redundant in most contexts.

Thanks!

One more question:

How/Where can we use "different timings"? I saw this phrase in my collocation dictionary.

They reset the signal lights to different timings to help with the traffic flow.

"timing" implies an interval from one point in time to another.

It can be a judgement:

His timing was off and he missed hitting the ball. (Timing= the time between the release of the ball and the swing of the bat.)
