Thesis writing

Hello there! My name is Mariellyn. I'm a 3rd yr student who is now undertaking language research and I am really having a hard time with it. We are now in chapter 2 which is the review of related literature and studies but chapter 1 isn't finalized yet. I'm having trouble making the conceptual framework wherein the theories should be aligned with the variables. Organizing the literature and studies is not an easy thing. Cohesion should be observed but it is hard to organize. By the way, my research title is "Perceived Effects of Social Media on English Language Proficiency". Can you help me with my thesis? Any advice or suggestion will be helpful and will take into consideration.
