Thesis statement help wanted

My question is concerning 'To Kill a Mockingbird' and a thesis statement revolvlng around the effects of prejudice through persecution. I would like feedback on what you think of what I have composed so far, if it's good or needs work. If it needs work, which it probably will, could please tell me areas I need to improve.
Thank you,
~TKM Thesis Trouble

Thesis Statement: Scout's experiences, in the novel, shows how prejudice can lead to unjust persecution and end up molding the people effected.
