Thesis Statement
I need help writing a thesis statement for 'The Scarlet Ibis'.
Thesis statements are my weak points in essays. The only one I've come up with, in my opinion, is terrible:
When faced with difficulties, families stay together. In the short story The Scarlet Ibis by James Hurst, the narrator helps his brother, though for selfish reasons.
Can you help me edit this, or perhaps suggest another?
