thesis sentances

The folling sentances I have come up with for my basic english class. They are to be thesis sentances. Please tell me if these are okay.

Use of computers helps my students understand health.

To define the problem of choosing a job and show my students how to solve it by going to Job Service for guidance.

To describe profit sharing with my co-workers I showed my quarterly earnings sheet.

The influence of the family on the individual brought hope of a successful career.

To point out similarities betwwn single-parent famillies and both parent families in order to show the differences.

To persuade individuals that pollution is a serious concern to our health.

To compare our american population with third world environment to show american citizens how lucky we are.

To express an opinion about one universal language and show people why I believe in that opinion.

To analyze women bosses into male dominate roles to show people that they can control these offices.

Hi,

Most of these are not worded as sentences. They are worded as objectives or topic titles.

eg 'To fix a computer is interesting' is a sentence. 'To fix a computer' is a title or objective.

Here are a few other brief comments/changes.
