Thesis Letter

Hi, I have to write a letter about why I don't have a thesis to send to the university I am applying for. Can you help me with the following sentence?

There is no thesis/dissertation required to complete the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Instead of a thesis, students must prepare four projects for the following courses...

I am not sure if I can use prepare with project or it is just better to use deliver instead, since we did the project and defend about how we did it.

Thanks.

  • Now it depends on what exactly you had to do.
  • Did you have to prepare/plan projects or did you plan AND carry out projects?

Well, I had to determine the loading and then design the columns as a part of the project, what do you suggest for this?

Hm.. maybe you can say:

"Instead, we had to work on different projects, which included planning and designing."
