Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing this letter to explain my study plan for your consideration of my student visa application.

I have completed my high school program at Vietnam-Poland school in Vietnam. During three years at school, I have actively participated in extracurricular activities organized by my high school. In particular, I went to the remote areas for charity and teaching the children, which allowed me to be close and talk to children. I was teaching them directly who had a life of deprivation and misery. Moreover, every year I visit ethnic minority areas a few times to help and support them even though they were just books, backpacks or pens, so I was feeling very happy. All of this made me realize that I had a great passion for teaching and my current dream is to be a passionate, patient and talented teacher. Therefore, I have a lot of experience in helping kids to gain high academic achievement and motivate them to build their own paths from the first step in life.

I am so glad that I have found my deep passion for my future career. As a result, after finishing high school, I started learning English at ACET English Language Center where I was contacted and studied in Australian education, so I was really keen on that teaching and it motivated me to be determined to study overseas in Australia where I can broaden my horizon in my later career. My target after studying is seeking a good opportunity to work in Australia or Vietnam to help many children.

After researching, I found “Early Childhood Education and Care” course at TAFE has core units I need to develop my ability, therefore, I applied for this course and was accepted by TAFE. Below are some of the core units that very helpful to me:

- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk

- Develop and provide community education projects

- Support the rights and safety of children and young people

- Work collaboratively to maintain an environment safe for children and young people

- Develop and lead community engagement strategies to enhance participation

Furthermore, I also have the golden opportunities to participate in hands-on courses, so I can apply the knowledge learned into practice so that I can have more experience and remember the knowledge longer. Moreover, I just need to study a specific subject without having to study other fields, which gives me a deeper insight into it. Some people think that studying Diploma will be difficult to find a decent job and be underestimated when meeting employers. As I found out, this is not entirely true. Employees not only demand education level but they also care about their work performance and seriousness in their work.

Regarding financing, my parents are entrepreneurs and set up their own distributor. They are fully qualified to support my studies and activities in Australia. When I decided to study overseas in Australia, they always supported me. Studying in a developed country like Australia, and especially my favorite Swinburn University of Technology, it would be the best path in my intellectual career.

I will be much appreciated your time to consider my visa application. Please do not hesitate to let me know if you request any additional information.

Sincerely yours,

Thi Diem Quynh, Nguyen (Miss)
