These sentences on drug traffickers is grammatically fine, isn’t it?
  • Drug traffickers could use violence to influence governments or stop government campaigns against drug trades. As such, they could assassinate influential persons who campaign against drug trafficking and government officials who lead anti-drug trafficking agencies.

I think at the government level, the campaigns are against "the drug trade."

The structure of your second sentence has the unfortunate "campaign against drug trafficking and government officials." It sounds like the officials are the targets of the campaign when you mean they're targets of assassins.
